Rather complex RRD structure for SNMP MIB objects

Post by david.knecht »

Hi all,

I would like to build an RRD database that consists of several RRAs each of which is storing data that is written to it by SNMP. Thus, each RRA is storing data of a different MIB object.

Is it possible to create such a complex RRD database for SNMP by using Cacti (given that the SNMP read process yields one single value per MIB object) or should every OID's value be stored in a single RRD?

I am using Cacti 0.8.3.

Thanks for your support.
