Scripting the addition of new Interface Graphs

Post by has »

Hi,

When we start graphing a device, we only graph interfaces that are or have been UP. To prevent having a whole lot of empty intraface graphs.

New Ports are provisioned on a continual basis.

What I would like to do is have a nightly job that re-indexes devices and automatically creates interface graphs for interfaces that have come up since the last job.

Has anyone done something simular or is there a relativly easy way to do this?

Thanks
H

At least part of this will be possible with 0.8.6k. There are some php cli scripts that may solve your problems. 0.8.6k is currently beta2
