I've been using cacti for just a week. mainly I'm monitoring Cisco and Foundry network devices.
but I couldn't get information from some Cisco devices. when I make a new device , usually cacti gets information including Hardware address, IP address and so on... but I couldn't get Cisco1760 IOS 12.2(15)T13 interface info. but I could make CPU utilisation graph of this device. what's wrong with this ??
does anyone help me??
actually, I'm japanese so my english might be poor. but please be patient

Re: no interface information...execpt CPU
Have you tried an snmpwalk of the device? Post the response, if not.
snmpwalk -v 1 -c community_here ip.add.re.ss -m ALL 1.3.6.1.4.1.9
Thanks,
nebj00la
snmpwalk -v 1 -c community_here ip.add.re.ss -m ALL 1.3.6.1.4.1.9

Re: no interface information...execpt CPU
You need to put the SNMP community in place of "community_here", and the device IP address in place of "ip.add.re.ss"hide wrote:'snmpwalk -v 1 -c community_here ip.add.re.ss' , I think it could get snmp information...
For example, a walk of a cisco device with IP address 192.168.1.1 and a community of "public" would be done by the following:
snmpwalk -v 1 -c public 192.168.1.1 -m ALL 1.3.6.1.4.1.9
