You've verified, that the target hosts snmp may be queried by your cacti system? Did you run an

Code: Select all

snmpwalk -c ... -v ... <target host> system
from cacti server's command line? Did you strip target's snmpd.conf down to the minimal configuration as suggested by fmangeant in his HowTo?
In this case, a wireshark trace, started just before selecting that target devices edit screen in cacti, may help

Were you able to solve the issue ?
I have the same here, and I do not see any errors in the logs (even set all to debug and so on)...
the snmpwalk manually runs ok (nagios is running on the same machine and uses also snmpwalk.

Any hints ?

Regards,
Chris
