Post by bikeRR »

cacti 0.8.6e work fine on fedora 3.
I need move it on new server with fedora 6.
Backup the old Cacti directory (include /rra) and copy to new server. Create dump mysql base of cacti and import on new server.
But no graphs =(

May be i need re-index cacti mysql database?
p.s. sorry my english...

Hi

AFAIK, FC6 uses RRDtool 1.2 and FC3 uses RRDtool 1.0

Could you check in Settings -> General -> Required Tool Versions -> RRDTool Utility Version that the proper version is selected ?

Another thing, you should upgrade Cacti to at least 0.8.6i, as there are security issues with previous releases.

[root@FC6]# /usr/bin/rrdtool -v
RRDtool 1.0.50 Copyright 1997-2004 by Tobias Oetiker <tobi@oetiker.ch>
..and in Settings -> General -> Required Tool Versions -> RRDTool Utility Version the proper (1.0.x) version is selected.

When upgrade cacti to latest 0.8.6j version, then graphs are visible, but i need use old 0.8.6e version...
