So what did I do wrong?

I attempted to install the aggregate plugin.

I copied the directory over into /usr/local/share/cacti/plugins and set its permissions to be the same as other stuff in /usr/local/share/cacti/

I added the mysql entries to the cacti database. (mysql cacti < aggregate.sql)

I updated /usr/local/share/cacti/include/config.php to include the following:
$plugins[] = 'aggregate';

It still does not show up underneath the Graph Management section.

I am at a loss.

I'm assuming you've installed the plugin architecture.

Have you checked your user permissions to see if you can see it? I've never used that plugin, but I forget to check the permissions a lot after I install a plugin.

I only lately release 0.63 of AGGREGATE. There's no aggregate.sql any more; it's now done inside the code. For sure, plugin architecture has to be installed first. And you won't see any tab or the like. You only find it under Graph Management when selecting the ACTION dropdown!

Ah.

I just didn't understand where it was suppose to show up. I'm now upgraded to 0.63.

I can't say that it worked great out of the box, but I changed some of it around and it actually works exactly the way I want it to. Which is much, much better than anything I could ever do with just a generic graph.
