reusing templates

Hello,

I would like to export & import certain templates w/ a differnt name. This so I can pre-configure varius possible configurations.

I looked at the XML, tried changing some values and reimporting it, however it seems to change things of the current template (which was exported).

Is it the hashes in xml ?

Ok. I can partly use the "Duplicate" feature for Data & Graph templates!

Now I still need to manually change the data sources in the graph template I duplicate, so they point to the new data template, I think.

I guess I want the graph template to use a differnt data template/differnt set of data sources without having to modify them manually....

if it can be done please let me know!

I suppose that duplicatinjg Data Templates in current cacti is still buggy. I dreamed to have found some bugfix for upcoming 0.8.6k on this issue ...
