Cacti vs. MRTG

Post by henryjesus »

I am using the recent stable version of cacti , if i monitor a router (Cisco 3600) dedicated serial link , cacti would report broken graphs but when I tried it with MRTG, the bandwidth monitor shows no broken links, what could be causing the problem? All of them are monitored via SNMP

in the next 5 min, it graphs the bandwidth results , the in next hour or so , it stops graphing bandwidth , more of like broken images / graph , unlike when i view it on MRTG , it doesn't seem to break
