Post by tim033 »

Hi, Im new user, and i have some problems.
After read forums and news I dont found ideas about my problems, and i will apreciate help.
I Use
Linux xxxx 2.6.11-1.1369_FC4smp #1 SMP Thu Jun 2 23:08:39 EDT 2005 i686 i686 i386 GNU/Linux
Cacti : Version 0.8.6j

When i try to install the official Patches the web inferface for graphs dont show any at the screen. And the buttons of "turn off the debug mode" at he console dont show the command line.
Other problem, without patches, is the generation of graphics dont shows the labels.

Thanks.

Ah, yes, this is a rather common issue.

The fonts that you have selected aren't working. Please confirm, in either graph settings for the user or in the Cacti settings that the fonts you have selected are pointed to the full path to the font.

Thanks, I unset the field and run!
I dont understand why not run previously when i put in this field a correct path /usr/www/html/cacti/fonts, and in this path i put a *.ttf files with correct permission ( I try also with 777 ).

Thanks.

You will have to specify exact file names when setting up fonts, no wildcards/directory names!
