Hi,
a feature request:
I want to add remarks to my graphs on special events.
I.e. I changed the swappiness value of a Linux box. When I check my graphs I can see an event so I know later when I changed it. Or a server got some more performant CPUs. Or, or, or...
So I know it's not to realise inside the rrd graphs. But having an additional field on the detailed view with all entries and dates would be fine.
Hopefully you know what I mean.

Re: Additional Fields for Graphs
Actually, rrdtool has a VRULE command, to mark events in time, which can have a legend. drraw.cgi uses this, and a seperate 'events' text file to produce what you want. Just to say it's definitely possible.knebb wrote:Hi,

Weathermap 0.98a is out! & QuickTree 1.0. Superlinks is over there now (and built-in to Cacti 1.x).
Some Other Cacti tweaks, including strip-graphs, icons and snmp/netflow stuff.
(Let me know if you have UK DevOps or Network Ops opportunities, too!)
