Graphs are displayed, but no legends

Post by duvel »

I have the problem that graphs are displayed, but no legends (neither vertically nor horizontally).

I am running RRD version 1.2 and have set the full path to the font file (DejaVuSansMono-Roman.ttf) at several locations :
->settings -> paths -> RRDTool Default Font Path
->settings -> visual -> legend font file
->graphs -> settings -> legend font file

Does anybody have an idea what is wrong ?

Press the Graph's tab, and then in the upper right corner, the Settings Tab. Uncheck the three "thumbnail" checkboxes about 2/3's of the way down the screen and then press the "save" button.

Hmm, show me a picture... Also, have you specified a default RRDtool font in Settings->Paths?

Please visit Graph Management, select any failing Graph, switch to DEBUG mode and post the whole rrdtool graph statement

Please find attached the RRDtool command debug for a graph without legends.

Your font's are likely either not found in the path you have specified, or the apache user does not have read access to them.

If you specify and RRDtool default font under settings->paths, you may have better luck. The next version 086k of Cacti will change this behavior a little bit. This is still a configuration problem on your part though.

It works now. Access permissions to the font file were incorrect.

Thanks for your help!
