Graphs Unit

Post by cyruspy »

Hi, just installed cacti to monitor a Linksys WRT54GX4 router/Wifi AP. I just used the Cisco template (i'm not sure how to create a new one). It retrieves data, but it seems the units are wrong. On the graph it says "bits per second", but it seems it's kbits what's being displayed.

Any ideas?

This is an example with data from the last 6 hours. This is the interface connected to the ISP equipment, i'm supposed to have a 128kbps connection

There's already a screenshot... Should i create a temple with the correct units?, i thought network equipments use standard MIBS so the cisco template would work with my linksys router...

In fact, this template is not Cisco dependant. It's simply a general traffic template. You may follow the second link of my signature to see the basic values retrieved from the device to calculate on your own
