Scanning abnormalities
I have Mactrack running, seems to be working great. I work for a school district and monitor the district office, and 5 remote sites (Schools). The cacti server is sitting at the district office. It will resolve the IP's and names within the office building, but will not do so in the remote sites... This could be because it is not connected to a managment vlan port on its switch... but I'm not sure, Figured I would ask before I started unplugging things. Anyone with any thoughts... thanks a bunch!!

Are you able to ping remote devices by name?Dacob9906 wrote:I have Mactrack running, seems to be working great.
