We are trying to monitor our Netgear GSM7224 Switches using Cacti to get detailed port statistics. Creating the device works, but then the following is displayed:
SNMP Information
System: No Such Object available on this agent at this OID
Uptime: No Such Object available on this agent at this OID (0 days, 0 hours, 0 minutes)
Hostname: No Such Object available on this agent at this OID
Location: No Such Object available on this agent at this OID
Contact: No Such Object available on this agent at this OID
When trying to create Graphs, the Text "No more variables left in this MIB View (It is past the end of the MIB tree)" is displayed all over the Data Query table.
I'm really new to Cacti. Can anyone help?

Monitoring Netgear GSM7224 Switches
Try upgrading the firmware from
http://kbserver.netgear.com/products/GSM7224.asp
You can also try to query the switch with a MIB browser. A free tool for Windows is Getif, available at
http://www.snmp4tpc.com/getif.htm - thanks Garth K. Williams.
If the MIB browser returns useful information, then Cacti should too. If not, seek support from Netgear.
Depending on what you want to graph, the stats you are after may not be supported by the switch. Check the documentation for supported RFC's.
Hope this helps.
