Hi

on your Windows 2003 server, did you add a community ? Is the Cacti server authorized to send SNMP requests ?
Also, is the SNMP service started ?

If you can ping the device, and know that you haven't set up any other snmp communities other then what would be defualt, usually public, you need to make sure snmp is set up on the device. If it is a windows machine, then you need to enable snmp through add/remove windows components. If it is a switch or router, then you need to type:

snmp-server community "community string name"

in the terminal configuration of the switch/router.

After you have done this, try to connect to the device again.

Sorry, but unfortunantly, those errors are out of the scope of my knowledge to understand what they are trying to tell you... Sorry. :(

1) are you using cmd or cactid to poll?

2) read through my installation guide and re-apply the NTFS security to the various folders/files/applications.
