How to install Cactid

Post by superzjb2007 »

I install cactid. But the graph is empty. When I use the cmd.php. It is normal. I follow the article http://www.cacti.net/cactid_install.php to install it.
Who can tell me how to install it?

Please tell us, where the binary lives. You have to configure this at "Settings -> Paths". Please remember to configure cactid.conf. Save it at /etc/cactid.conf. Try running it manually, e.g.

Code: Select all

./cactid --verbosity=5 0 10
against Host[0] ... Host[10]

what should I write in my "crontab" in my linux? Did I should remove the sentence about "*/1 * * * * /usr/bin/php /cacti/poller.php > /dev/null 2>&1" in my crontab ?

Leave it as it is. The switch to "cactid" is done by visiting "Settings -> Poller" and selecting the other poller from the dropdown at top of the page

Hello. What's the meaning of "Leave it as it is"? Do you want me to delete it or not ?
