Cisco ME3400 graphing problems

Post by armin »

Hello,

I use Cacti 0.8.6i.
when I add Cisco ME3400 switch with Cisco Router template I get all the interfaces listed and system OID shown, but no graphs are generated. Under devices the host status is down. While using the same template on Cisco 3550 and other Cisco switches there is no problem. Can someone advise.

Please post the results of

Code: Select all

snmpwalk -c ... -v 1 <target> system
against that device

I have tried using v1 and v2c and no difference.
The host is listed as down and no graphs drawn.
Everything else seems fine.

Please erase the community string for that host for some polling cycles and check, if the host goes up

Please see second link of my signature and post the DEBUG log when polling exactly this device (hints given in my howto)
