Help Please!!! Graphs stopped working

Post by darknature »

Ok I noticed that none of my graphs have updated in the last 3 days. I ran the poller.php and got this error back.

Waiting on 1/1 pollers.

I ran the cmd.php and get this error:

File size limit exceeded

I know that I am not out of disk space... I must be missing something. Please help me. Thank you in advance!

1) Cacti log file needs rotating <path_cacti>/log/cacti.log
2) Your poller_output table (mysql) has reached it's limit.

True understanding begins only when we realize how little we truly understand...

Life is an adventure, let yours begin with Cacti!

For those wondering, I'm still here, but lost in the shadows. Yearning for less bugs. Who want's a Cacti 1.3/2.0? Streams anyone?

Alright thx but we are pretty new to Cacti and im a bit confused.

1)Alright i will verifiy if my log file is beeing rotate

Is there a special work around for the rotation or you mean rotate the file as a normal log file would be rotate ?

2) What can i do to solve the poller_output table problem ?

thx alot

I have the same issue .. however

1) it is not preventing the poller from running, or other function. It is only sending annoying email that we're trying to track down

2) no mysql file is over 5MB

3) cacti.log was at 20MB, and I rolled it

4) In fact, there are NO large files on the entire system over 100MB except for a few old log files, gzipped in other directories

WHAT could be causing these messages.
