CSV Export Feature

Post by BChirhart »

Hey Ian -
I am currently trrying to recover from seeing how cool and easy Cacti is to set up and start graphing. Thank you so much for this awesome tool. One thing that I am going to miss though that I currently have with our MRTG/RRD setup is the ability to export the graph data to a comma-seperated file. I figure you could have a very small button next to eash graph labeled CSV. Clicking this would open a file dialog box that would allow you to browse where you wanted to save the spreadsheet. Now, wouldn't that be cool? 8)

I would like to second this request. We do a lot of analysis and comparisons of different data sources from various monitoring tools, and the best way we have found to do this is through a spreadsheet. A CSV export would be most helpful in Cacti.

CSV Export solved

Post by BChirhart »

This has been added via 2 new functions - cactistoric (which I personally LOVE!!!) and Bonsai which I have not used.

Cactistoric removed my need for CSV files and also was the deciding factor in our organization going back to Cacti!!!! Thank you so much Bruno!
