I have begun work on some DesignJet templates to graph toner levels. Unfortunately I only have a DesignJet 500 to work with. I have completed templates for it and will post them after further testing.
Until then I have found a reference document for the designjet series that will greatly help our knowledge of the oids.
A great HP reference for mibs and documentation can be found at:

Any news on this?myte wrote:I have begun work on some DesignJet templates to graph toner levels. Unfortunately I only have a DesignJet 500 to work with. I have completed templates for it and will post them after further testing.
I have access to a DesignJet 755CM (C3198A) equipped with a JetDirect J2552B. Oldish.
I'm still a newbie here, but learning fast. I'd like to have a look at your templates, please.

I'm fairly certain you cannot get ink levels out of that model via SNMP.IlPini wrote:Any news on this?myte wrote:I have begun work on some DesignJet templates to graph toner levels. Re: HP DesignJet Template
You're right. I've been analyzing the complete snmpwalk from the device and I can't see anything resembling ink levels.streaker69 wrote:I'm fairly certain you cannot get ink levels out of that model via SNMP.IlPini wrote:I have access to a DesignJet 755CM (C3198A) equipped with a JetDirect J2552B. Oddly enough, I found what may look like the right OIDs, but their values are people's names (Hobbes and (three times) Callahan). Developers, probably.
Oh, well... interface statistics are standard and good, I'll monitor those.
