how to poll ony one host from command line?

Post by lordzik »

Hello,
I'm making my own graphs and for testing i would like to run poller.php from command line but only for one host (if my new graph is for a host that is last in a queue then i have to wait till poller.php polls all other hosts). Is there a parameter that makes it possible?

Yep, but with cactid as a poller only. In this case

Code: Select all

cactid n n
will poll the host with ID=n only. Find the hosts id when editing the device: see url

you can do this with cmd.php as well:

Code: Select all

php <path_cacti>/cmd.php n n
