ZyXEL P-600 series traffic analysis w/Multi-NAT

Post by Mr.Idle »

Hi! My set-up is fairly simple. I have a Prestige 660HW-61 router, and four computers hooked to it. Through multi-NAT, each computer gets its own public IP address. Actually, there are five public IP addresses assigned to it, the fifth only being used on occasions. Nevertheless, I can't figure out how I can collect the statistics for each public interface.

Has anyone tried or knows something about this?

you need find out your modem support SNMP or not, if it does, then things are very simple, you can find out an adapter on each RJ45 port then u can tracking their traffic :)

Thanks! The router supports SNMP versions 1 and 2c (currently using 2c). By using some of the pre-installed templates I can easily retrieve bandwidth usage for enet0, enet1 and pppoe. That only gives me information for the first public IP address, however. When I click Verbose Query under Associated Data Queries, I can see that it doesn't pick up the other four public IP addresses at all. Well, if it does, it's neatly encrypted.

How would I go about finding the connected adapters? Could you perhaps give me an example of commands or parameters to use? Even how I could do it using snmpwalk from console would prove quite valuable to me. :)
