Hello everybody,
I have installed cacti version i and PHP Network weathermap.
Now I want to use Network WeatheMap Editor. I followed steps written and it works fine...
I have a issue!
I start Adding nodes and links. then I link two nodes and Properties of my LINK. When I set properties, especially DATA SOURCE, the EDITOR recognize cacti links database and I can attach any rddgraph to the LINK designed.
BUT when I want to do the same with a NODE something happens
In the NODE PROPERTIES there is a message saying:
" 'Hover' Graph URL [Pick from Cacti] (not yet) "
Why NOT YET??
What do i have to do?? wait?? or activate somethig else?
Please help!

It means that Howie hasn't worked on that particular feature yet. He's a very busy guy and he's actually working on a new version of the editor that will be released when it's completed.
For now, ignore that particular feature. I believe he put those things there as a place holder for future features, but they're just not completed yet.

Wow, you need to relaxwmunguiam wrote:In the NODE PROPERTIES there is a message saying:

After 0.9 is released, I plan to re-write the editor. Apart from a few small change 0.9 will have the same editor, but the next release will be mainly the new editor.
I could say that this will happen in x months, but it's not likely to be accurate. I work on this stuff in between Real Work and my social life (what there is). I hope to have 0.9 done soon.
Weathermap 0.98a is out! & QuickTree 1.0. Superlinks is over there now (and built-in to Cacti 1.x).
Some Other Cacti tweaks, including strip-graphs, icons and snmp/netflow stuff.
(Let me know if you have UK DevOps or Network Ops opportunities, too!)

jajjaja... I
When I said "WHY NOT YET" I wanted to know if there was something wrong with the Editor and Cacti.... some configuration....
But then with the post reply of Streaker I could realise that the phrase "NOT YET" is beacuse it is not developed yet...
*****
Howie... It is a good new you information about version 9 of editor....
I hope you could have it ready next months.... I will wait for that!!!
Maybe you could add some kind of network discovery to autoconfigure the map... It could be done by reading database and making some procedures of attachment...
