*asterisk plugin*

Post by kruz »

hey guys, i will start developing the asterisk plugin

its going to include anything and everything you will need
to monitor your asterisk server #'s

including agent count, channel count, and any numbers you can think of.

just getting feedback from the community, what numbers would you guys like to see included? ( example: number of current sip registers.....etc )

any information would be great

look forward to it :]

for me.. I'd like to be able to see some cdr info..

I'm still learning Asterisk, but one thing that I find difficult is tracing calls that "just went wrong" (after the event), so maybe some call quality info or log analysis..

Yeah i am curious to know this as well

Also it would be good if it can show the following:

How many Zap channels connected
Average Channels per 5 minutes/1 hours/day/week

That would be awesome if that can be done.

Cheers,

David.

There is an active Asterisk community

I am curious why folks don't involve the Asterisk community in their efforts. Had two oid's added to res_snmp just a few days ago by jcmoore before reading this thread.

I'll post the templates once the new res_snmp is generally available. (or as soon as I find out how to attach a file) You would of course need to bet the diff for res_snmp for the two new oid's to work.
Never can decide on colors and such so the graph areas are just plain blue.

Um, I am very involved in the asterisk community.

My nick is bkruse

and
#asterisk-gui

I am rewriting res_snmp (or rather agent.c) as well.
