One graph combination from datasources

Post by marios »

Hi all,

Is it possible to combine in one graph (specifically add) a counter that is taken from two different devices.

eg. We have two routers in load sharing configuration could we plot the eg. TCP/IP traffic from both of those on a single graph(Same OID different host IP) Furthermore could we have one graph displaying the sum of the two counters from the different hosts.

I know this is possible from two different OIDs on the same host but how about the same OID on different hosts.

Please see http://forums.cacti.net/viewtopic.php?t=5703.

And, soon, there will be a new way to do so, combining the good features of both ways above. I've a new plugin, called Aggregate, that will reuse existing rrd file and is (I hope so) easy to use. It's already running (at least on my laptop), but the Template stuff is not yet complete.
I will show this, hopefully, on 1. European Cacti Community Conference, 6/7th of January, 2007 at Bochum
