"SNMP Timeout" per host question ...

Post by Burzuum »

Hi all,

I am trying to query an UCDExperimental OID, the one for lmSensors on a V240 Solaris 8 box.

The truth is : i got the reply datas from lmSensors but too slowly for Cacti. If i do an manual snmpget, i have to do it with the timeout variable >= 2s.

I tryied to change the SNMP Timeout in the general settings but no joy :-?
I tryied to change the SNMP Timeout in the per host settings but still no joy :-?

I see this in the last one :
SNMP Timeout
The maximum number of milliseconds Cacti will wait for an SNMP response (does not work with php-snmp support).
I am using poller.php to poll my datas ... this means i cannot use this per-host setting ??

Thanks for any replies or solutions :)
