Editor error

Post by zgamer »

"FELL THROUGH Howie's crappy binary search is wrong after all."

Tried using the editor to create a map of a large group of devices (maybee 50 devices), I have the devices created but now it returns the above mentioned error. Not sure why it is showing up the rest of maps were created without a problem.

Have a check that you haven't created two linked-together nodes VERY close together (less than the length of two arrowheads). I think this error relates to short links in the curve-drawing code, from memory. I don't have the code handy.

Needless to say, I intend to fix it a bit better in the next version :-)
Weathermap 0.98a is out! & QuickTree 1.0. Superlinks is over there now (and built-in to Cacti 1.x).
Some Other Cacti tweaks, including strip-graphs, icons and snmp/netflow stuff.
(Let me know if you have UK DevOps or Network Ops opportunities, too!)

Yep, that was the problem. Thanks.
