cmd.php process hangs every once in a while?

Post by funbags »

The cmd.php process hangs every once in a while? I am not sure which poll is causing it to do this, it might be weatherbug. None the less why doesnt it kill itself after a certain amount of seconds? I have to manually do killall php to clear out those old cmd.php processes.

For example this is what ps aux | grep cmd.php looks like:

Code: Select all

fileserver:~# ps aux | grep cmd.php
www-data 26667 0.0 0.4 18120 8944 ? S 02:20 0:00 /usr/bin/php -q /usr/share/cacti/site/cmd.php 0 3
www-data 28881 0.0 0.4 18120 8944 ? S 03:45 0:00 /usr/bin/php -q /usr/share/cacti/site/cmd.php 0 3
www-data 30457 0.0 0.4 18124 8948 ? S 04:45 0:00 /usr/bin/php -q /usr/share/cacti/site/cmd.php 0 3
www-data 32022 0.0 0.4 18124 8948 ? S 05:45 0:00 /usr/bin/php -q /usr/share/cacti/site/cmd.php 0 3
www-data 32536 0.0 0.4 18124 8948 ? S 06:05 0:00 /usr/bin/php -q /usr/share/cacti/site/cmd.php 0 3
www-data 1866 0.0 0.4 18124 8948 ? S 07:05 0:00 /usr/bin/php -q /usr/share/cacti/site/cmd.php 0 3

www-data 5022 0.0 0.4 18120 8944 ? S 09:05 0:00 /usr/bin/php -q /usr/share/cacti/site/cmd.php 0 3

root 8732 0.0 0.0 2848 704 pts/1 S+ 11:23 0:00 grep cmd.php
This is the log file example:

Code: Select all

11/29/2006 09:49:54 AM - POLLER: Poller[0] Maximum runtime of 292 seconds exceeded. Exiting.
Thanks in advance!
