Not able to connect the database in .NET

Post by prashant_dave@satyam.com »

Hi,
I have a web service written in VS 2005, in that i am making a connection to SQL server 2000. the connectionstring i am using is like this
"server=servername;database=dbname;Integrated Security=True"

when i try to run above service in development enviorment it is working fine.....but when i Host the above service in IIS and try to access it through client i am getting the following error..

"An error has occurred while establishing a connection to the server. When connecting to SQL Server 2005, this failure may be caused by the fact that under the default settings SQL Server does not allow remote connections. (provider: Named Pipes Provider, error: 40 - Could not open a connection to SQL Server)"

can anyone help me to resolve this error...
