Data Source Item Fields [traffic_in] Maximum Value

I have assigned The maximum value of data that is allowed to be collected at 512kbps but my graphs are showing more than that also.

Due to this my clients are claiming that my graphs are fake.

Please suggest me how to over come from this issue.

I suppose you're collecting In/OutOctets and not bits. So, you'll have to define your maximum at 512k/8 instead
