Due to one of our vendors not counting input data on it's optical interfaces, we were forced to create composite graphs from two data sources to display input and output traffic.
Is there a way to use two data sources on a link in the weather map, one being used for input and the other used for output? I could create new queries to pull the data from both sides of the circuit, but would rather not add too many queries because the more snmp queries run to these devices, the longer it takes them to respond to snmp (currently >45 seconds per device for 35 ds3s and a couple oc12s).
I have a ticket open with the vendor so they can address their snmp implementation, but it doesn't seem like it'll be a quick resolution, if they address it at all.
thanks,
j

Code: Select all
TARGET source1.rrd:traffic_in:- source2.rrd:-:traffic_out
Weathermap 0.98a is out! & QuickTree 1.0. Superlinks is over there now (and built-in to Cacti 1.x).
Some Other Cacti tweaks, including strip-graphs, icons and snmp/netflow stuff.
(Let me know if you have UK DevOps or Network Ops opportunities, too!)
