PLEASE FIX!!! Template contains more DS definitions than RRD

After spending about half an hour adding more Data Sources and then running the php script from the command line I am again getting this error:

Will someone please fix this? It is really annoying having to go into the datbase manually and to every single DS to find out which one I need to delete, not to mention that it doubles amount of work that this front end is supposed to save.

I've applied the "trim" patch that someone here suggested and this is still happening. I'll help with anything I can, but I'm not much of a coder. I'm resolving everthing else slowly; anyone found a fix for this??
