Post by Beens »

Hello,

I have a question about cacti.

What's the maximum amount of servers that we can add into cacti ?

Kind regards,

Hi Steven,
what do you mean with "servers" . Devices to be polled, or Cacti Server?
If you mean Devices, we currently poll 1890 Hosts,Devices,Serrvers with at least 33369 interfaces.
best regards
Frizz

Hi Frizz,

I mean devices.

I now have 125 servers
and I added number 126 and I had snmp errors,
the same when I added number 127.

I googled a bit and it was an SNMP issue.
So nevermind =-)

Moving to correct forum.

I don't believe any installation has reached the so called 'max'. Read through this thread http://forums.cacti.net/viewtopic.php?t=6206 for how many devices people are polling.
