64 Bit Graphs and 95th%ile

Post by razzezz »

I've recently gone over 115Mbps one one of my uplinks and had to convert to 64Bit Traffic Graphs to ensure correct graphing.

However, I don't have an option for 64 Bit with 95th%ile. If I try modifying the graph in Graph Management, the graph fails to display.

Any one got any suggestions?

Create a new template for the 95th with 64bit and apply that.

May be a simple question, but how do I specify in the template that it's a 64Bit Template and not a 32 Bit?

The according graph templates refers to data sources that use the 64bit OIDs, that's all

Sorry for being stupid,

but can anyone give me step by step instruction or a template for this?

I'm still struggling. I'm currently running v0.8.6h

Everything works very much as ever. Defined your host, associate it with the "ucd/net-snmp host" host template (or some other that holds SNMP Interface Traffic Data Query). "Create Graphs for This Host" and find the interface table (usually at the bottom of the screen). Select the interface you're interested in and now select a 64 bit Graph from the Dropdown. That's all

I have the 64Bit graphs but they don't display a 95th%ile.

This is what I am struggling with.

Wow, that's not that big of a deal. Goto Data Queries, select Interface - Traffic. Now select the Associated Graph Template for 64bit. The second entry reads Graph Template and defaults to "Interface - Traffic (bits/sec)". Change it to the one with 95th.
Please report your findings, as I have no real 64 bit SNMP V2c at home (weird, should update soon   )
