It is my understanding that the above only applies to "area" and "stack" graph item typeslvm wrote:Please see http://forums.cacti.net/viewtopic.php?t=5703

Both statements are wrong.
In most cases, "basic" graphs, e.g for all of your systems already exist. This is fine to have a look at each system seperately.
And in most cases, if you want to have an aggregate graph, you will build it from scratch. You may use _any_ already existing data source item to be graphed in that new graph. In your case, you will use all items of all of your systems.
But there's virtually no limit (ha hmm, I remember someone complaining about errors when using up to 100 items. This is mostly because of a command line length limitation of your OS)

Ok. I have been trying a couple of things now.
I copied the postfix graph template, thinking i would be able to add the 5 ekstra datasources i need and then use the template just for aggregated values only.
After i added the 5 ekstra datasources:
-I made sure that the new datasources were associated with the correct graph-item-types
I turned to the Graph Management interface, selected my new graph template and "None" in Host
Selected the appopriate DataSources which the graph should be built from
And now after i pressed "save" the graph looks like this.
-What am i doing wrong ?

Please find a new approach via "Aggregate Plugin". Please comment.
