Polling Windows and Unknow Token Error Messages

Post by cloakanddagga »

Please excuse my naivety, but I am relatively new to Cacti.
I have scoured some of the message boards on this site, but can't seem to find an answer to these 2 questions, so I'm hoping someone can help.

I am running Cacti version g on a workstation running Win 2k3 Server
Standard Edition.

1.) Is there a way to disable the Cacti polling windows from popping up on the screen during the polling times? I'd ideally like the ability to turn these off and then turn them on as needed.

2.) When the polling is taking place another window pops up and says:

Cannot find module (NONE): At line 0 in (none)
C:/net-snmp/etc/snmp/snmp.conf: line 2: Warning: Unknown token:persistentDir.
C:/net-snmp/etc/snmp/snmp.conf: line 3: Warning: Unknown token: tempFilePattern.

I verified these directories are created, and the contents of my snmp.conf file is simply:

mibdirs C:/net-snmp/share/snmp/mibs
persistentDir C:/net-snmp/snmp/persist
tempFilePattern C:/net-snmp/temp/snmpdXXXXXX

Any help would be greatly appreciated. :)

Thanks

I have DLL files for php_snmp.dll for 5.1.2 and 5.1.4 that correct this problem. This is a PHP build issue unfortunately. I may have posted the DLL's here. Can't remember.

For those wondering, I'm still here, but lost in the shadows. Yearning for less bugs. Who want's a Cacti 1.3/2.0? Streams anyone?
