95th Percentile not displaying after upgrade>0.8.6i

Post by aleto »

Last night (3:10AM CEST) i upgraded to cacti 0.8.6i from 0.8.6h.

Everythings work SMOOTHLY, and perfect. Except for the 95th percentile calculation.

See the attachment for information, im probaly overlooking something?

After hours of research, cursing, too and too much coffee ive managed to find 2 differences:

Anyone got ANY idea what this could be?

It looks like the syntax changed as well. Tony, that's not something we did is it?

If there was, they where not intential. Has to be issues in lib/rrd.php and handling quoting of ":".

It almost looks like the syntax is not being evaluated for one of your HRULES. Can you please paste that syntax here and then let us know where you obtained this template as the default cacti only supports a single HRULE associated with graphs.

Thanks,

Yes, but now Tony has enough information to comment on this and correct any syntax parsing that has changed between versions. I may be that the template will have to change. I will leave that to Tony.

Okay, thats really nice.

So, is it going to be fixed? Anything else we can do..

Or do we need to send Tony applepie first before he's going to fix it? ;)

At this time, I don't know what is wrong. I have to pull the 0.8.6i and test it.

Durning development, I did not have this problem. And I'm 100% sure 95th worked, because I have been working on writting something around that code, which has required me to test it more than I care to admit.

Your data is still there, it's just not creating the graphs right.

Do you have any plugins installed? Please send me your lib/rrd.php file.

Please EXPORT that template and post the resulting file. Remember to enable dependancies. The file you have attached is not a valid XML file.
