Debain: how to monitor ethernet :: how to edit snmpd.conf

Post by Chuanse »

Hi,

i managed to install cacti and i get the 4 default graphs without a problem.

I would like to see how much traffic comes and goes from my server (all traffic/95th percentile)

i understand that i have to edit the snmpd.conf to achieve this, but i don't have a clue how to configure this... :s

could anyone help me out?

thx in advance

Hi,

thanks for the respons, tried what you wrote...
Or it's to complicated to me or the tutorial isn't specific enough.

I still can't get it to work :/ I have no clue how to setup my need in snmpd.conf nor in cacti. Just trying and trying over and over without success.

would it be possible to make a tutorial specifik for network traffic. I'm sure you'll help a lot off ppl with that...

thanks in advance

C.
