Weathermap icon bugged in Internet Explorer

Post by Ynodde »

Hi all,

It has come to my attention that the weathermap icon in Internet Explorer is more gray then the rest. This is due to the fact that Internet Explorer does not support transparency in PNG files. My solution was to save the tab_weathermap.png as a .gif file and rename the setup.php so it calls the right one.

Just my 2c

This is "fixed" in 0.9 by going back to GIF as you say. Hooray for Microsoft Innovation.
Weathermap 0.98a is out! & QuickTree 1.0. Superlinks is over there now (and built-in to Cacti 1.x).
Some Other Cacti tweaks, including strip-graphs, icons and snmp/netflow stuff.
(Let me know if you have UK DevOps or Network Ops opportunities, too!)
