how to install plugin architecture

Post by ixtab »

hi everybody...
i have a big trouble, i'm working with cacti .86.h, and i tried to install weathermap plugins, and i noticed that i need to install the plugin architecture, so what did was replaced the files with the cacti-plugin-arch.tar.gz, and re-configured my config.php and add in config['url_path'] = "/cacti/";
so. when i add a plugin it supose that a only have to add this line
$plugins[]='weathermap'
and save the plugin in /dir cacti/plugins/weathermap
but nothing happend..
so what did i do wrong??
can somebody help me?? :roll:

Have you checked the Cacti User permissions to make sure you have permissions to view everything?

Hi. I have upgraded my cacti from 0.8.6h to 0.8.6i. I used to have the plugin architecture working under this revsion. Since upgrading, I cannot use the plugins anymore. I have tried reapplying the architecture, but cannot get it working.

Can anyone help ?

Thanks

Hi - sorry.

I am using n3ncy's freebsd VM build, which has 0.8.6h installed, along with the plugin architecture. I upgraded this to 0.8.6i successfully, but lost the plugin functionality. I reappplied the plugin files, but can't seem to get tihis working.

There aee no entries in the realm permissions, and the file permissions seem to be correct. As fas as I can tell, the db permissions are also ok.

Thanks

Did you re-add the plugins to your config file?
