make all graphs on same scale

Post by mandreko »

I've been reading through documentation for a few days, but have not found out if it's possible to do what I"m looking for.

I have say 200 interfaces on a Cisco 3600. I'm currently graphing their traffic in bits using the template that came with Cacti. However it scales the image so that the max value is where the traffic peaked. I would like it to have the min always be 0, and the max to be a set value for that interface, such as 1.5Mb for a T1 interface, or upwards of even 6Mb for some of my Virtual interfaces. It just needs to always have the same max, so I can compare 200 interfaces easily, instead of having to look at the scale when I find a nice colorful graph.

I tried messing with some of the configuration values, but couldn't seem to get it. Anyone know if this is possible, and if so, how to do it?

Go into the interface graph template. Turn off autoscaling and set the max value for the y-axis.

thanks so much, I can't believe I passed over that. I had been in the Data Templates, instead of the Graph Templates. sheesh.
