Importing Raw data

Post by Silver »

Hello!

Is there any way to importing raw data to cacti?

I got files of measurement on every 30 sec from a device, in a file there is a timestamp-vaule pair for each second. (last 30 sec results)
I want to generate graphs from this data.
I know i can make a script data input, but this can only query the last result, and I will lost the 1sec sensitivity

Is there any way to do this?

Graphs are generated by rrdtool.exe, which reads the data in the *.rrd files. If you want to graph externally updated rrd files, read this http://forums.cacti.net/viewtopic.php?t=12202

If you need to write a script to collect data for cacti, read this http://forums.cacti.net/viewtopic.php?t=11288
