SNMP returns data, but no data showing on Graph

Post by jwashburn »

I am trying to graph some information from one our HP Color printers. I actually took a tempalge from here for the 2500 and started with it. the OID is the same for just about all the printers. I know the OID works, when i use our SNMP tool it retreives data.

See attachment. I dont have any errors when i look at the debug. I just am not getting any data on the graph.

Any ideas?

Turn the logging level in cacti to debug and look if valid data is being returned for those templates.

Nope. Probably the wrong OID. snmpwalk .1.3.6.1.2.1.43.11.1.1.9 and see what data you get from a printer.

You using a snmp template or a data template with these OID's hardcoded?

This data collection really should be done with a script. I suggest you read http://forums.cacti.net/viewtopic.php?t=11647 and http://forums.cacti.net/viewtopic.php?t=11288
