Just lost some of my pollers?

Post by carlilek »

Yesterday, I added a new host (Win2K), and imported some templates (for IIS). I noticed last night that around the same time (approximately), I stopped getting data from my mgc_apc data sources (my 2 UPSes). I can't figure out why it's not polling anymore; I've cleared the cache, looked at the debug files, and I don't see anything wrong. But the rrds haven't been updated for those items since 4:55 yesterday afternoon. I know the 2 devices are still sending data; I get other graphs/data from them. Any ideas?

Thanks!

Change "Settings -> Logging Level" to DEBUG for one polling cycle and check cacti.log for your hosts. You'll find the results of polling those targets (among a lot of other stuff)

Easy way is to find the name of the old rrdfile and copy over the new one. Then you get the old data back.
