[XML Release] Host Template for Nortel Alteon 180 series

Post by thermoman »

Hi guys,

here you get a complete Host Template for Nortel Alteon 180 series.

It includes monitoring of sessions of real server, real server groups, virtual server and the temperature of the 4 hardware sensors.

"SNMP - Interface Statistics" is not included in this Host Template because i don't want to force you to overwrite your own settings. So, after importing the template simply add the "SNMP - Interface Statistics" to the "Associated Data Queries" in this host template.

Hope you like it.

Setup Simple Round Robin Load balancing with 180

Post by aalhait »

I need a really simple configuration for the box.

I need a 3 port setup. Port 1 going in Port 2 and 3 Load Balanced in Simple Round Robin.

PS. I purchased this box to do simple load balancing to 2 web servers.
Assume
Port 1 is 10.0.0.201
Port 2 is 10.0.0.202
Port 3 is 10.0.0.203

Port 2 is connected to Web Server 1
Port 3 is connected to Web Server 2

Both Web Servers are connected to Server 3 DB.

I'm looking for a config (from factory default) to get that setup done.
I would really appreciate some help with this. Or I don't even mind hiring somebody to do it really quickly and save it for me.

Please let me know if anyone can help soon.

Thank you all.

I know this is 4 years old, but is there any chance you can add CPU utilization?
