Root graphs don't update/appear

Post by patrioticduo »

My installation was based on Fedora Core 4 with all code installed using RPM's.

I can login as admin. I can create new devices. I can add the devices into the tree.

But the graphs that should show on the front page of each device don't update. If I click on the graphs then I go to the page showing 5 min, weekly, daily, monthly graphs. And all of these graphs update and are showing correctly.

Permissioning ??? RRDTool or Cacti?

Here is the URL for one of the graphs that does not upate.

http://jupiter/cacti/graph_image.php?lo ... 7&rra_id=1

Interestingly, if I look in /rrd, I can see all of the underlying graphs (by their ID) but the graph ID's of the front page graphs don't appear in that directory. And I suspect they don't exist at all.

Can anyone point me in a direction to take?

Many thanks,

Mike.

I had the same problem - until I noticed that on the settings page was an older version of RRD Tool that the the one I had installed. I just changed this setting and the graphs appeared :)

Hope this helps :)
