How to query for Citrix sessions/users

Post by rweales »

I need to monitor Citrix sessions/users on our servers, and I've read several of the posts here regarding Citrix sessions/users.

Questions:
Do I need to create a new data query for this?
Do I just edit the interface.xml and add a new section for the Citrix OID?

Thanks!

From what I remember, graphing the number of Citrix users is a little tricky. You can use the "current logged in users" graph, but depending on how many Citrix servers you have, it will open up a certain number of extra connections for each server so it throws your numbers off some. I'm pretty sure there was some talk of it a while back, i'd have to look for the post

Hi !

For monitoring Citrix User Session, you shoud use snmp4ctx : http://www.snmp4tpc.com/snmp4ctx.htm

Install it on you server and use the Citrix Templates on earlier posts.

Greetings.
