sh: ./poller.php: Permission denied

Post by Albert »

Hello,

Im trying to get cacti up and running to read out localhost and my superstack switch....

Al deps seem to be installed prober, path's are correct...

After reinstall, same problem appeared...

sh: ./poller.php: Permission denied

When chmodding 777 output is "This script is only meant to run at the command line." in HTML format...

RRA and LOG dir. are chowned -R @ cactiuser (actuel user)... Crontab gives same output as running at command line >>
X-Powered-By: PHP/4.4.2
Content-type: text/html

<br><strong>This script is only meant to run at the command line.</strong>

Cacti Variables
Operating System: unix (centos 4.2 running as Rhel4)
PHP SNMP Support: yes

There are NO log files created nor RRA files...

Help is much appreciated!
(running with /usr/bin/php makes no differance)

------------------
can the problem occour because of restricting following 'files'??? (chmod 700)

/usr/bin/rcp
/usr/bin/wget
/usr/bin/lynx
/usr/bin/links
/usr/bin/scp
/etc/httpd/proxy/
/var/mail/vbox
/usr/bin/mc
/usr/bin/elinks

/usr/bin/lwp-download
/usr/bin/GET
/usr/bin/curl

and usefiles like gcc, cc, gnatgcc etc (ex byacc cc gcc gnatgcc i386-redhat-linux-gcc perlcc yacc)

BY ROOT
[root@ownserver cacti]# php poller.php
X-Powered-By: PHP/4.4.2

BY CACTIUSER (actual user)
sh-3.00$ php poller.php

//edit.
[NOT FOUND] PHP Binary Path: The path to your PHP binary file (may require a php recompile to get this file).

[root@ownserver ~]# which php
/usr/bin/php

Seems not to see the php binaty while the path is ok?!

php poller.php seems to work on other box perfectly (altough, errors with not finding files, but that seems logical)...

Is it a php version problem? Running 4.4.2.

Running for a couple of hours everything seems ok, except there is no total in: value for the total in/out graph

Is this something known?!
