Missing tab for new plugin
Please help. I've followed the instruction (http://cactiusers.org/wiki/PluginArchitectureInstall) on installing plugin architecture and added a plugin new plugin is not listed on the realms settings for the user.
Created the "links" folder under .\cacti\plugins. Added these lines in config.php
/*Plugin */
$plugins = array();
$plugins[] = 'links';
/* make sure these values refect your actual database/host/user/password */
Thanks

Re: Missing tab for new plugin
Your config does look correct, but just for clearity (since you didn't mention it) you did extract the files from the links plugin and place them in the directory you created, correct? So you should have the file at .\cacti\plugins\links\setup.phplex8009 wrote:Created the "links" folder under .\cacti\plugins. Added these lines in config.php

Re: Missing tab for new plugin
Again, just to be sure... did you add both those lines? The first one should have already been there. You have installed the plugin architecture, right?lex8009 wrote: Created the "links" folder under .\cacti\plugins. Added these lines in config.php

Weathermap 0.98a is out! & QuickTree 1.0. Superlinks is over there now (and built-in to Cacti 1.x).
Some Other Cacti tweaks, including strip-graphs, icons and snmp/netflow stuff.
(Let me know if you have UK DevOps or Network Ops opportunities, too!)

Re: plugin
Huh? If you installed the plugin architecture, then thelex8009 wrote:yes and yes.
Code: Select all
$plugins = array();
As cigamit said, if the setup.php file is in place, then it should all appear as expected, unless the PA wasn't in right, in which case that code would never be called and nothing would happen.
It's just about the simplest plugin you can write, so I doubt it's the plugin, somehow.

I don't understand. What link?jga wrote:I have the same problem, the plugin works, but tab not shown, only show the link[/img]
The only thing the plugin does is show a tab, so if that isn't there, what is it you see that makes you think it works?
