weathermap problem

Post by cwahlin »

Hello,

Just installed weathermaps, and I seem to have the same problem as many others, but I can't seem to get it to work anyway :)

I'm getting
No image (gd) extension is loaded. This is required by weathermap.
when I run the poller. Anthough when I do php -i I see with-gd, but when I do php -m I do not se gd!! I'm running php 5.0.4. I can't find extension=php_gd2.dll in the php.ini file. Maybe it should be that way, I dunno...

System is Fedora Core 4.

Any ideas?

A quick google found this page. Something they suggest there is

Code: Select all

; Enable gd extension module
extension=gd.so
in your php.ini (not .dll - that's for windows).
Weathermap 0.98a is out! & QuickTree 1.0. Superlinks is over there now (and built-in to Cacti 1.x).
Some Other Cacti tweaks, including strip-graphs, icons and snmp/netflow stuff.
(Let me know if you have UK DevOps or Network Ops opportunities, too!)

Thanks Howie!

Worked like a charm! Guess I just didn't refine my google search enough ;)

You enabled it via your PHP.INI file but have you actually installed the GD libraries?

Not a few days, but at least two polling cycles and you should start seeing data, if not, then you have something else wrong.
